What a great morning for a parkrun. With a Kent GP tomorrow and the weekend between two marathons I quite fancied my chances of taking my first win at Dunorlan park, until I arrived and spotted Michael King, Alice Heather-Hayes, Craig Chapman and Will Levett.
We ran the reverse route today to celebrate to 50th running and with no mud in sight it was a totally different course. A great way to start the weekend.
Next week is the anniversary run, and for those who don't have a little run the next day, we are trying to get a big contingent of Harriers to attend. Remember to register for free on the parkrun site and don't forget your barcode. It has even been suggested, contrary to the usual etiquette, we might all wear deckchairs too.
Bring a some loose change and stay for a cup of tea afterwards.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
