Dear Harriers
In order to celebrate the spring and my return to the running fold, I am hosting 3 special runs in the month of May in order to share some of my favourite special routes with you dear friends. The runs are all off road - trail runs(virtually all off road) , and are welcome to all runners. The pace is that of the slowest participant so please do not worry about being left behind - it is a social enjoyable run together. So then the run info.
Firstly on 17th May at 9am - Trails of Pembury Walks. About 5 Miles. Meet at the RSPB car park on Half Moon Lane (Dislingbury Road), this is the road that goes off the A21 at what was Fairthorne Shell petrol station - the car park is 300 metres on the left but is not open on weekends, but you can park by the gate or down the road, car-share if many coming please. This lovely woodland and heathland run features a beautiful little vale with blue and white bells.
On the 24th May at 9am - Trails of Sherwood Forest. About 5 - 6 Miles. Meet at my house 51 Greenway, T Wells, TN2 3HJ. Join me for a tour of the newly rejuvenated Sherwood woods and lake, also features bluebells etc, quite often see foxes and deer. I will provide refreshments back at mine after the run.
And finally on 31st May at 9am - Trails towards Tonbridge. 4.66 Miles. Meet at my house as above. A run out on paths towards but not to Tonbridge, nice interesting route. Refreshments after also.
Thanks and hope to see you soon
Terry
